An AI Coach by ISTE and ASCD

I was fortunate enough to be given early access to StretchAI, a “digital coach… trained to answer questions about effective teaching and learning practices…”.

Product of the recent ISTE / ASCD merger, and a collaboration with OpenAI, my understanding (and guess) is that StretchAI combines a variety of techniques to ground its responses in vetted materials:

Thanks to this approach, StretchAI aims to be more helpful and reliable than general tools such as ChatGPT, or even Perplexity.

Note that StretchAI is still in beta and testing phase, so consider the video below an early example of what it can do.
